Whereas amazon.ca is currently out of stock, and chapters two weeks ago were out of stock, and O’Reilly is/was of stock when I tried a couple of days ago to order.

We’re having the same problem in the US — Amazon has delayed a bunch of orders, O’Reilly still won’t ship directly from their warehouse, and anyone who pre-ordered from O’Reilly’s Safari service (where the rough cuts edition was available) still hasn’t had theirs ship yet. I called O’Reilly to find out more details and was told that some actual book stores were receiving copies, but that it was hit or miss. I was lucky enough to find a copy at Powell’s Books (http://www.powells.com) here in Portland, OR, but even they only received two copies.

I had mine pre-ordered at Chapters and it arrived in the mail two days ago :-). First impressions are that it is going to be a very good resource. Saw another posting at http://knowledge.lapasa.net/?p=48 where there will be a signing here in Toronto.
