2008-Current - Director of Technology for an Interactive Agency.

2007-2008 - Brought a SaaS social media platform in Ruby on Rails intro production. Managing a team of Development and UX professionals. Managing and building out platform for scalability, robustness and security. Responsibilities and work tasks across the board from server configuration, system design, client meetings, task list management, development etc.

2006-07 - Implemented large Ruby on Rails backed internal, and external high availability web system, replicating with one of the largest Filemaker databases in North America. Enabling business to expand it’s online activities rapidly with it’s client base. Upskilling of team in Rails and Agile development practises.

2005 - On contract managed from concept to completion eCommerce system for Fastmount LTD. PHP/MySQL application that manages the entire Order, Manufacturing and Shipping processes. Ongoing maintenance and enhancements including new Ruby on Rails portion of application, gradually phasing out PHP part of application.

2005 - Completed LMS 2, a PHP/MySQL hosted application, for Software License Management for Soft Tech NZ LTD client base. Both for client use, and automated system via Web Services for .NET Smart Clients.

2004 - Completed Zen, a PHP/MySQL Project Management & Timesheet Application, endorsed by Designers Institute of New Zealand.

2003 - Completed Ranginet, a PHP/MySQL CMS for Rangitoto College, NZ’s largest secondary school.

1996 - 2003 - Pivotal team member on Soft Tech NZ LTD’s V6 Project, a Delphi based CAD/CAM software for the Window and Door (fenestration) industry world wide. Key client contact in US, UK and France. Highlights include:

- Completing an enormous Business Analysis project to enable design/quoting of large Curtain Wall (windows that ’skin’ skyscrapers) structures within the software. Awarded project management role for project, managed team which grew upto 14 members.

- Numerous Business Analysis trips to United States, United Kingdom, France and Australia.

- Nominated Young Achiever of the Year, for NZ Hi-Tech Awards by head of NZ Software Association.

- In conjunction with lead developer of V6, developed from a business perspective, a VBA like interface to the CAD engine of the V6 project which solved many client problems.
